Lopez (groin) signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Nationals on Saturday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
Scouting Report
Generates excellent movement on his fastball, can strike batters out regularly and also induce groundball outs when he needs them. Attacks hitters well. Needs to continue to work on his changeup in order to become a dominant starter in Major League Baseball. Also, he needs to finish filling out his 6-3 frame.
Long Range Potential: Talented right-hander with some upside.
