Scouting Report
Like his famous father of the same name, he had a sweet left-handed swing that churned out line drives to the gaps. Ran well and had a solid throwing arm. Could play all three outfield positions. Lacked even middling power in his bat, and never showed an ability to consistently get on base (which hurt his ability to play every day in the big leagues). Made his fair share of errors in the field.
Long Range Potential: Speedy depth outfielder.
