Scouting Report
A top-tier run producer with clutch ability, he was patient at the plate and hit with good power. Was a very good high-ball hitter and could tattoo mistake pitches when he guessed right. Boasted an accurate arm and was very dependable in left field. Struck out far too much, which somewhat negated his great plate patience. He also lacked consistency in the home-run department, as well as in terms of his batting average. His decline with the bat came relatively quickly (he became a platoon player).
Long Range Potential: Solid, run-producing corner outfielder.
