The Cubs agreed to terms with Turner on a one-year, $6 million contract Tuesday, Patrick Mooney of The Athletic reports.
Scouting Report
Shows plate discipline, hits a lot of doubles, has decent speed and will drive in runs when given the opportunity. Displays a solid glove and the ability to play several infield positions. Does not stand out in any one particular area. Needs a little work on his base-running as he is a bit inconsistent in that area. Is prone to prolonged batting slumps as an everyday player.
Long Range Potential: Solid, savvy and versatile veteran infielder.
