Scouting Report
When at his best, he was an overpowering late-inning reliever who racked up great strikeout totals and intimidated opposing lineups. Owned a devastating slider, which he complemented with a fastball in the mid-to-high-90's. Was unhittable for stretches. Eventually developed a troubling tendency to give up untimely big hits and late-inning rallies. Wore down physically and became injury-prone, further affecting his consistency, reliability and production. As a result, he lost his closer role late in his career.
Long Range Potential: Talented, inconsistent and injury-prone late-inning reliever.
