Scouting Report
Had power, excellent plate patience and a keen batting eye. Was a better-than-average thrower and a wonderful defensive outfielder. A great athlete, he could also play first base. Never learned to go the other way with pitches in order to make more consistent contact, as he struck out at an alarming rate. Struggled when at the plate with ducks on the pond.
