Barzal scored the game-winning goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blues. He also delivered two assists, including one on the power play, while adding four shots on goal and a plus-1 rating.

Scouting Report

Few, if any, NHL players have the puck on his stick more than he does; his combination of straight-ahead speed and the ability to cut on a dime and leave change make him a nightmare for opponents. Excels at finding teammates in prime position to score, and is becoming more willing to shoot himself. He is improving his play without the puck but must improve on face-offs. His problems come when he tries to do too much, or gets frustrated and takes needless penalties.
