Scouting Report
Could log huge minutes and was very durable for his limited size. He competed, was extremely mobile and could rush with the puck or pinch in from the point. Read the play well and shot the puck with accuracy. Blocked shots. Did have difficulty at times when opposed to big NHL forwards and was not generally regarded as a physical defender by any stretch of the imagination. Slowed down with overuse down the stretch of his lengthy career.
Long Range Potential: Savvy, quality big-minute defenseman.
