COYOTES LAND LINDSTROM

The Phoenix Coyotes acquired winger Joakim Lindstrom from the Anaheim Ducks for defenseman Logan Stephenson.

What does it give the Phoenix Coyotes
Lindstrom is the latest in a line of Swedish wingers in the Coyotes organization (i.e. Mathias Tjarnqvist, Fredrik Sjostrom). He may add some NHL depth but must first prove capable of dominating the AHL ranks.

What does it give the Anaheim Ducks
Stephenson is a depth defenseman for a Ducks club that recently lost Francois Beauchemin (torn ACL) for the rest of the season. Look for Stephenson to remain in the AHL for the foreseeable future.
