Delmore adds a little AHL depth to the Flames. His best asset is his big point shot, but he isn't likely to spend much time on the power play with the big club to use it. Defensively, he's had issues when used at the big-league level over the years.
What does it give the Detroit Red Wings
The Red Wings get a gritty forward for their AHL team in Grand Rapids. Armstrong is the younger brother of Atlanta's Colby Armstrong, and he shares the same feistiness as his brother. Unfortunately, he isn't as talented.
