What does it give the Pittsburgh Penguins
Wozniewski has size and NHL experience, so he could be a No. 7 defenseman for the Pens if more trades are made. Otherwise, he is AHL depth. He's a steadier defender than Richmond.
What does it give the St. Louis Blues
Richmond has more of a physical edge to his game, and more offensive upside, than Wozniewski. However, he has a lack of discipline in his game that has so far prevented him from becoming an NHL regular. He is a good low-risk acquisition for the Blues at this time.
