Malenstyn (illness) completed a full practice Monday, clearing the way for him to suit up against the Hurricanes on Wednesday.
Malenstyn (illness) is expected to miss Saturday's tilt against Seattle, per Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News.
Is an industrious forward who hits hard and can also be used to kill penalties. Will not hurt his team defensively but is not going to contribute a lot of offense because he has never shown consistent scoring ability at lower levels. There is a niche he can fit in as a physical, grinding forward, but that is a very crowded position and he will have lots of competition for an NHL job.
Long Range Potential: Organizational depth forward.
