DONTAYVION WICKS TO THE EAGLES
The Philadelphia Eagles acquired wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks from the Green Bay Packers for a fifth-round draft pick in 2026 (No. 153 overall) and a sixth-round draft pick in 2027.
What does it give the Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are still expected to trade star wide receiver A.J. Brown this off-season. Therefore, adding Wicks here makes a ton of sense. Wicks looks like a sneaky-good addition to a Philly team that could certainly use more receiving options.
What does it give the Green Bay Packers
For the Packers, this trade alleviates a bit of their wide receiver logjam. It is a nice problem to have but this deal should help the likes of Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden moving forward. The Pack did not receive a lot in return for Wicks, though.
Fantasy impact
Wicks should benefit from this trade in terms of playing time with the Eagles. That said, he is moving to a run-dominant team so expectations should be tempered. Reed and Golden might wind up being the biggest beneficiaries of this trade.
