PITTMAN TO PITTSBURGH

The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired wide receiver Michael Pittman and a seventh-round draft pick in 2026 from the Indianapolis Colts for a sixth-round draft pick in 2026.

What does it give the Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers lacked offensive weapons last season, especially a wide receiver to play opposite DK Metcalf. Enter Pittman, who played opposite deep threat Alec Pierce in Indianapolis. Pittman should be a good fit for Pittsburgh, provided they land a capable signal-caller this off-season. Aaron Rodgers again?

What does it give the Indianapolis Colts
The Colts decided to re-sign Pierce to a massive contract extension, so Pittman was likely a casualty of that decision. Indianapolis did not get a lot in return for one of their starting wide receivers, and this move leaves a pretty big hole in the lineup. Look for Indy to target a wideout early in the draft.

Fantasy impact
Pittman started to lose ground to Pierce last season but the move to Pittsburgh could revamp his NFL career. He is likely to become a volume receiver for the Steelers. Draft Pittman in the middle rounds of most fantasy drafts this year.
