RASHAN GARY GOES TO DALLAS
The Dallas Cowboys acquired defensive end Rashan Gary from the Green Bay Packers for a fourth-round draft pick in 2027.
What does it give the Dallas Cowboys
Ironically, the Cowboys traded star pass rusher Micah Parsons to the Packers last season. Now, they are acquiring one of the players who saw less playing time after that deal. Gary is no Parsons but he should the Dallas pass rush in 2026.
What does it give the Green Bay Packers
The Packers had a surplus in terms of edge rushers after the Parsons acquisition. So, they moved Gary to Dallas for a fourth-rounder in next year's draft. It is a little weird that these two teams keep trading edge rushers with each other.
Fantasy impact
Gary is going to be a serviceable defensive player for the Cowboys. However, he is unlikely to make a major impact in most fantasy leagues. Pass.
