REDDICK JETTISONED TO THE JETS
The New York Jets acquired defensive end/linebacker Haason Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles for a conditional third-round draft pick in 2026.
What does it give the New York Jets
The Jets did not re-sign edge rusher Bryce Huff, who signed with the Eagles ironically enough. So, adding Reddick fills that void for New York. Reddick has a more proven track record for sacking the quarterback than Huff does at this point.
What does it give the Philadelphia Eagles
For Philadelphia, getting a third-rounder in '26 (which could become a second-round pick if Reddick meets certain numbers with the Jets in 2024) is good asset management. The Eagles signed Huff as a free agent, which opened the door for this deal.
Fantasy impact
Reddick should continue to be a solid IDP fantasy draft option in 2024. He might play more snaps than Huff did with the Jets, so do not forget about Reddick on draft day.
