RAVENS JETTISON JERMAINE ELUEMUNOR

The New England Patriots acquired offensive guard Jermaine Eluemunor from the Baltimore Ravens for an undisclosed draft pick.

What does it give the New England Patriots
The Patriots may have to begin 2019 without starting center David Andrews (blood clot), so Eluemunor provides some interior line depth. He will probably be used as a backup in New England, which would allow Ted Karras to take over for Andrews as the starting center for now.

What does it give the Baltimore Ravens
Eluemunor was one of several Ravens vying for the starting left guard job in training camp this year, so obviously he did not impress enough to win the role outright. With him gone, James Hurst, Ben Powers, Bradley Bozeman and Patrick Mekari remain in the hunt.

Fantasy impact
This trade should not affect neither New England nor Baltimore, so all of the regular fantasy studs from both teams remain excellent options for 2019.
