MORRISON FOR RADMANOVIC

The Los Angeles Lakers acquired forward Adam Morrison and guard Shannon Brown from the Charlotte Bobcats for forward Vladimir Radmanovic.

What does it give the Los Angeles Lakers
In Morrison the Lakers get a talented scorer who can fit in as an outside shooter in their Triangle offense. Morrison is not a great defender, but Radmanovic wasn't either and Rad-man failed to win over head coach Phil Jackson in their time together in L.A. Meanwhile Brown is an athletic combo guard with some untapped potential, but seems to be more a throw-in at this point to make the salaries match.

What does it give the Charlotte Hornets
Charlotte head coach Larry Brown loves defensively-sound players with clutch ability, and Morrison displayed neither quality this season for the Bobs despite regular recent opportunities to step up. While Radmanovic isn't really an upgrade, he is a player with perimeter talents similar to Morrison's and perhaps a scenery change will help him and the Bobcats improve.
