HEAT, RAPTORS SWAP PICKS

The Miami Heat acquired the rights to Albert Miralles from the Toronto Raptors for the rights to Pape Sow and a future second-round draft pick.

What does it give the Miami Heat
A second-round gamble that might pay off. Miralles is an energetic big man, and those don't exactly grow on trees. He's also very raw, however, and is years away from helping Miami. In a few years, he may grow into a good NBA player but doesn't seem to have the raw athleticism needed to become a star.

What does it give the Toronto Raptors
A player who might turn a few heads and a little insurance in the draft. Second-round draftees are always a bit of a dice-roll, and realistically Sow may have just as much upside as Miralles. Good on the Raps for picking up a player who has some skills and can help them now, and for getting a draft pick in the bargain.
