SIXERS, BUCKS TRADE FOUR

The Philadelphia 76ers acquired guard Jodie Meeks, center Francisco Elson and a future second-round draft pick from the Milwaukee Bucks for center Primoz Brezec and guard Royal Ivey.

What does it give the Philadelphia 76ers
The Sixers add a solid prospect here in Meeks, who can provide them some scoring depth and upside at an affordable price. Elson appears to have been added to make the salaries in the deal even out, and his contract comes off the books at the end of the season. Philly also gets the second-round pick here in exchange for taking on a little more salary.

What does it give the Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks basically just save some money here, as Brezec's and Ivey's contracts are not quite as expensive as the combination of Elson and Meeks. Neither player is expected to see much action, and both have deals that will be up after this season (which will free up some funds for the Bucks). The draft pick isn't a big loss and is obviously the price for losing some payroll.
