BLAZERS MOVE AGAIN!

The Portland Trail Blazers acquired forward-center Alexander Johnson (the 2006 draft's No. 45 overall pick) and two future second-round draft picks from the Indiana Pacers for guard-forward James White (the 2006 draft's No.31 overall pick).

What does it give the Portland Trail Blazers
A very underrated and athletic power forward prospect plus some solid future considerations in the picks. They already stocked up on young talent in other deals during the day, so Johnson isn't really a viable player for them to hold onto and may be headed elsewhere to save money. The two second-round picks are a nice little stockpile for the future, for a player who didn't seem to fit into their plans in White.

What does it give the Indiana Pacers
A hyper-athletic possible future replacement for Stephen Jackson. White is one of the riskiest players in the draft, but may also bring some of the biggest rewards. He has yet to fully harness his talent and there are some who doubt he will, considering his past of off-court shenanigans. The Pacers are excellent judges of athletic talent and obviously believe White can get it together. He's not quite the second coming of Ron Artest but White also isn't one of the more predictable or reliable performers either.
