CLIPPERS BRING IN BOGDANOVIC

The Los Angeles Clippers acquired guard/forward Bogdan Bogdanovic from the Atlanta Hawks for guards Terance Mann and Bones Hyland, a second-round draft pick in 2025, a second-round draft pick in 2026 and a second-round draft pick in 2027.

What does it give the Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers add a valuable and versatile piece for their bench in Bogdanovic, who should be motivated to play for a Clippers team that looks like a solid contender in the Western Conference. LA gave up five assets to land him, so obviously they like his chances of making an impact this season.

What does it give the Atlanta Hawks
Bogdanovic had not been playing for Atlanta, as he was away from the team for personal reasons. So, the Hawks did well to add two guards in Mann and Hyland (plus three second-round picks) for Bogdanovic. Atlanta is not a true contender in the Eastern Conference this year, so this trade makes sense.

Fantasy impact
Bogdanovic is a risky proposition from a fantasy perspective, but he could be worth adding in some league formats. Mann might receive more playing time in Atlanta, so he too might be worth a speculative pickup. Hyland is unlikely to become part of Atlanta's rotation, and may not have much fantasy value even if he does.
