KUZMA BROUGHT IN BY THE BUCKS

In a four-team trade, the Milwaukee Bucks acquired forward Kyle Kuzma and a second-round draft pick in 2025 from the Washington Wizards, center Jericho Sims from the New York Knicks, and a second-round draft pick in 2026 from the San Antonio Spurs; Washington acquired forward Khris Middleton, guard AJ Johnson and the right to swap first-round draft picks in 2028 from the Bucks; New York acquired guard Delon Wright, guard Hugo Besson and cash considerations from the Bucks; and San Antonio acquired forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. from the Wizards, and cash considerations from the Bucks.

What does it give the Milwaukee Bucks
Kuzma is a clear upgrade at forward for the Bucks, so this trade could be huge for Milwaukee's title hopes. Sims will add more depth to the frontcourt. This trade should greatly help the Bucks in the Eastern Conference.

What does it give the Washington Wizards
For Washington, losing Kuzma will hurt but the team is adding future assets here. Johnson might have a chance to play a lot more with the Wizards, while Middleton should provide valuable experience off the bench (if he sticks around in D.C.).

What does it give the New York Knicks
The Knicks moved out Sims, who was used sparingly as a backup center this season, in order to get more depth at the guard spots with Wright. They also got some cash back from the Bucks. This deal will not change much for New York.

What does it give the San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs were included in this massive trade to make the money work, as Baldwin Jr. is not expected to remain with San Antonio for very long. Milwaukee sent some cash to the Spurs to finalize this deal.

Fantasy impact
Kuzma's fantasy outlook might be bleaker than Milwaukee's situation now that he is a Buck. Behind Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, Kuzma's stock could be dipping. Middleton has been beset with injury for quite some time now, so he is a diminishing asset. Baldwin Jr., Sims and Wright are merely depth players, so there is no need to add them. As for Johnson, keep an eye on him. He has a chance to turn into a fantasy regular over time.
