CLIPPERS, JAZZ CONNECT FOR 4-PLAYER TRADE
The Los Angeles Clippers acquired center Drew Eubanks and guard Patty Mills from the Utah Jazz for forward P.J. Tucker, center Mo Bamba, a second-round draft pick in 2030 and cash considerations.
What does it give the Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers get a quality backup center in Eubanks, who should be an upgrade over Bamba with Los Angeles. Mills is a grizzled veteran guard who can come off the bench and provide instant offense if needed. That said, Mills may have difficulty getting into the Clippers' rotation down the stretch.
What does it give the Utah Jazz
Tucker has not played at all this season due to personal reasons, so he is unlikely to help the Jazz at this point. Bamba is a younger center than Eubanks, but there are whispers that he could be waived by the Jazz. Therefore, the Jazz made this deal to get an extra second-rounder.
Fantasy impact
There is no point in adding Eubanks, Mills, Tucker or Bamba at this stage of the NBA campaign. They all provide little or no fantasy value, so look elsewhere for help.
