HARDEN HEADS TO PHILLY!

The Philadelphia 76ers acquired guard James Harden and forward Paul Millsap from the Brooklyn Nets for guards Ben Simmons and Seth Curry, center Andre Drummond, a first-round draft pick in 2022 and a first-round draft pick in 2027.

What does it give the Philadelphia 76ers
This was the biggest deal before this year's NBA deadline, and it happens to be between division rivals! In Harden, the 76ers land one of the best players in the league (when healthy and motivated). He should be an immediate impact player for Philadelphia, who aspires to win a championship in 2021-22. Millsap was thrown into this deal, but he may or may not play for Philly.

What does it give the Brooklyn Nets
For Brooklyn, this trade provides plenty of depth for a team that was lacking in that department. Of course, the Nets no longer have a "big three" but Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving should still be able to lead the way here. Simmons, Curry and Drummond are all excellent additions, while two first-rounders are cherries on the sundae. Both teams should be happy with what they are getting in this deal.

Fantasy impact
Harden will continue to be a great fantasy weapon, and he could be even better in Philadelphia with added motivation. Simmons is out of the Philly purgatory, so he is the clear winner here. Pick him up if somehow he was still available. Curry may see a slight dip in playing time with the Nets, so proceed with caution with him. Drummond has a chance to start in Brooklyn, so pick him up if available. Millsap can continue to be safely ignored in most leagues.
