KENYON MARTIN JR. MOVED TO HOUSTON
The Houston Rockets acquired forward/guard Kenyon Martin Jr. from the Sacramento Kings for a second-round draft pick in 2021 and cash.
What does it give the Houston Rockets
The son of former NBA power forward of the same name, Martin Jr. has an outside chance of earning a spot in the Rockets rotation this season. He is more likely going to apprentice in the G-League in 2020-21.
What does it give the Sacramento Kings
The Kings decided not to keep Martin Jr. around, but they were at least able to secure a second-rounder in next year's draft and some cash from Houston. The Kings have plenty of options on the wings this season.
Fantasy impact
Martin Jr. could be a late draft option in very deep keeper formats. Otherwise, he should be on the radar but not drafted. Keep an eye on how he performs in training camp.
