DEVONTE' GRAHAM HEADS FROM HAWKS TO HORNETS
The Charlotte Hornets acquired the draft rights to point guard Devonte' Graham from the Atlanta Hawks for two 2nd-round draft picks.
What does it give the Charlotte Hornets
Charlotte likely sees Graham as an NBA-ready backup for star point guard Kemba Walker, so if all goes well this can be a very solid move for the Hornets. It's never a slam dunk to add rotation players in Round 2, but this might be one of those.
What does it give the Atlanta Hawks
The Hawks already have three first-round draftees to pay salaries to, so they get two future second-rounders in return for one second-rounder. That's pretty good value.
Fantasy impact
Graham shouldn't be on the fantasy radar unless Kemba Walker gets injured; then again, if he finds himself filling in for Walker and getting big minutes, Graham has the tools to put up good all-round point guard stats. Keep him on your deep sleeper radar.
