MARINERS, BREWERS MAKE A SMALL TRADE
The Seattle Mariners acquired infielder Luis Sardinas from the Milwaukee Brewers for outfielder Ramon Flores.
What does it give the Seattle Mariners
This is a deal of marginal prospects. Sardinas gives Seattle a decent utility infield candidate for 2016, plus a backup for veteran second baseman Robinson Cano.
What does it give the Milwaukee Brewers
Flores is more of a fourth outfielder who can help replace Gerardo Parra, who was traded to Baltimore last season. He may also get a few starts in left field in 2015.
Fantasy impact
Neither Sardinas nor Flores have much in the way of fantasy value, despite the trade. Both are fantasy dark horses who need an injury to become more viable.
