Blalock might find it easier pitching in Miami than Colorado. That said, he is probably a depth starting pitcher option for the Marlins this season.

What does it give the Colorado Rockies
Blalock clearly needed a change of scenery after struggling with the Rockies (both in MLB and the minors) last season. Like Blalock, Brooks is a depth starter.
