What does it give the Los Angeles Angels
In Soler, the Angels bring in a veteran power hitter. The 32-year-old is coming off an uneven season, which saw him struggle with the Giants but rebound after a trade to the Braves. He will look to improve on a 21-home run season after slugging 36 the year before. In an Angels lineup that has struggled in recent seasons, Soler should play every day either in the outfield or at designated hitter.
