What does it give the Texas Rangers
Valdez is younger than Vanasco and has a live arm. The left-hander is further away from the big leagues than the player he was traded for, but he may have a little more upside. Time will tell.

For now, neither Vanasco nor Valdez needs to be added in many keeper leagues. However, keep an eye on their minor-league progress this year.
