The Rays have plenty of injuries, especially to their outfielders, so Peralta should help down the stretch. He should see most of his at-bats against right-handed pitching.

The Diamondbacks get back a young catching prospect with plenty of upside. This is a good deal for Arizona because Peralta is on the down side of his MLB career.

Peralta does not need to be picked up in every league format but could be a decent option in deeper leagues. Cerda is now on the keeper radar.
