The Colorado Rockies acquired pitcher Aaron Taylor from the Seattle Mariners for pitcher Sean Green.

What does it give the Colorado Rockies
Taylor gives the Rockies minor-league depth and will only help at the big-league level if they're able to turn him around. He's one of those pitchers who's great in the minors -- he's been a strong closer -- but just hasn't been able to retire big-leaguers.

What does it give the Seattle Mariners
Green is another big righty who's had success in the minors as a reliever. He's by no means a major prospect but could become a decent big-league reliever one day.
