What does it give the Arizona Diamondbacks
Duke could give the D'backs a lot of innings in 2011, and he also provides a second lefty for the rotation. However, he's been on a downward spiral for a while now. He needs to rebound.
What does it give the Pittsburgh Pirates
The Pirates are looking to shake things up, and had already planned on moving Duke out. They'll receive a prospect in this transaction. More importantly, they get a fresh start with someone else in the rotation.
