The Minnesota Twins acquired pitcher Marcos Diplan from the Milwaukee Brewers for cash.
What does it give the Minnesota Twins
In Diplan, the Twins are taking a chance on a young arm with control issues. He only turns 23 in September, so there is still plenty of time for the Dominican right-hander to put it together.
What does it give the Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers recently designated Diplan for assignment, so they were at least able to get back some money for giving up on him. He did not progress enough as a starting pitcher.
Fantasy impact
Diplan could be a name to stash away for the future but he holds no real keeper value at present time.
