Seguin (knee) was placed on long-term injured reserve Saturday, retroactive to Dec. 2.

Seguin sustained an ACL injury that will keep him out long term, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports Wednesday.
Scouting Report
The second player picked in the 2010 NHL Draft was one of the league's most consistent scorers until he was derailed by injuries. He is trying to regain the skating ability that made him one of the NHL's most dynamic offensive players. He still has terrific puck skills, is dangerous in one-on-one situations, has a nose for the net and a big shot. Can play both center and wing.
